Accessibility

Last reviewed October 15, 2026

Hive Web Design LLC wants everyone, including people with disabilities, to be able to use Opprio. We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA, the standard referenced by the U.S. Department of Justice's guidance on web accessibility and the ADA.

What we do

  • Text and controls meet WCAG AA color-contrast levels in both light and dark mode.
  • Every page works with a keyboard alone, shows a visible focus outline, and has a "Skip to main content" link.
  • Form fields have visible labels, and errors are announced to screen readers.
  • Information is never shown by color alone: deadlines, set-asides and statuses are always written out.
  • Pages have descriptive titles, headings in order, and work when zoomed to 200% or viewed on a phone.
  • The site has no video or audio, and no images that carry information.
  • We checked every page with the axe accessibility checker, in light and dark mode, and by hand (keyboard, zoom and phone widths) on October 15, 2026, and recheck pages when we change them.

Known limitations

  • Opportunity titles, agency names and links come from SAM.gov, Grants.gov and USASpending.gov as published, and some government pages we link to may not be fully accessible.
  • Payments and billing management happen on Stripe's pages, which Stripe maintains.
